The Giving Tree: Gifts  for our troops

Please participate in our “Giving Tree.” See the tree in our church parlor. The ornaments on the tree cover 11 different categories and each has a list of requested items on it.  Involvement is easy! Simply select your ornament or ornaments and place your name on the sign out sheet next to the number of the ornaments you have selected.

Take your ornaments with you when you shop and choose any number and quantity of the items listed.  Your purchases can be returned to church, with the ornament attached, on or before December 14th.

There are large flat rate boxes filled with sample items on display by the tree so you can see the types of items needed.  Our gifts will be packaged and mailed to our troops serving in Iraq.  If you already know you want to help but cannot shop, a cash donation would greatly be appreciated.

Each box we send requires $10.95 in postage so you can easily see that this Outreach Project has something for everyone. Please consider getting involved.  A member of the Board of Christian Outreach will be available at the tree to offer assistance
