Our facilities -

Reception Parlor
Our Parlor is beautifully furnished with comfortable camel back sofas and chairs, and is a natural gathering social area before, between and after services. And is an elegant setting for receptions and teas. Our coffee center is adjacent, and hot coffee, teas, and often snacks are available. There is a donation container to help us cover our coffee expenses. Just across from the coffee enter is our new "coffee bistro area", a set of several bistro tables and comfortable chairs that encourage all to sit and chat a bit.

The "Wall"
Former members returning to Peace Lutheran Church, on Fort Street in Southgate,  invariably will always stop by what is known as the “Confirmation Wall”.  That is a 70 foot span of wall in the hallway of the church where confirmation photos are proudly mounted of all the classes since the church’s founding in 1946.  Former confirmands are pictured forever as 13 year olds. The “wall” got a lot of attention on Sunday, June 4, 2006 when our congregation celebrated its 60th Anniversary.

Library
Our growing library contains an interesting variety of books and tapes for young and mature readers from fiction including recent book club selections, biographies, inspirational and religion/theology themes to children's selections including some recent "new" titles. Also available are books on tape, complete audio versions of the Bible and copies of Peace performances. The library is in the wide hallway near the parking lot doors, and has comfortable wing back chairs, a study desk, and a table suitable for small meetings.
