New Member Classes

We are so happy that you have been coming to our church to worship with us.  If you have made the decision that you would like to join our church family here at Peace, please contact Pastor Hormann so that she can work with you during this process.  There are materials that you will be provided with, as well as, discussion sessions that will be scheduled.  These sessions are very informal; very relaxed.  They will be designed with your needs in mind.  After your initial meeting, we will be able to determine the number of future individual sessions.  Contact Pastor by phone 734-284-1922, or by e-mail pastorhormann@peacesouthgate.org

Confirmation

CONFIRMATION OPEN HOUSE IS SEPT. 20TH, 2006  @ 6:30. Parents and students (entering 7th & 8th grades this Fall) are expected to attend.   We will provide light refreshments.

Students in the 7th & 8th grades participate in Confirmation, a two year program involving learning and growing in the Christian faith.  During the school year classes are held each Wednesday evening, and students participate in many projects that help them learn a life of faith and service to the Lord.  In the summer our students spend a week at Stony Lake Lutheran Camp gathering with young people from other churches for Confirmation Camp. 

Adults

Adults are certainly not left out of our fellowship/learning environment. Adult classes are offered on Sunday mornings, Thursday mornings, and evenings at various points in the year. 

Thursday Morning Bible Study - This Bible study group (G.O.A.L.) meets on Thursday Mornings at 10:00 to discuss the books of the Bible. It is led by Pastor Hormann . Please bring your Bible and be prepared for a great time! This is a long standing group, and welcomes everyone!
